Scott Pleasants is currently serving as the first Poet Laureate in the 129 year history of the Township of Teaneck, New Jersey.  Originally from The Bronx, New York, he sometimes expresses his thoughts through the lens of a seasoned transportation executive and U.S. Air Force Veteran.  A published poetry author who allows his words to rhythmically tell the story of our journey.  Scott is a long time community advocate and volunteer who has been recognized on the local and state levels.  He allows his writings to reflect his thoughts by poetically transferring our experiences to words.
